QuickOrtho Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 9, 2026

QuickOrtho is a clinical reference app provided by Dirkes Medical, PLLC, in Olympia, Washington, United States. This policy explains how we handle information when you use QuickOrtho or contact us for support.

Information stored in the app

QuickOrtho does not require an account. The reference library is bundled with the app. Saved pages, recently viewed pages, and preferences such as text size, appearance, and default age are stored on your device. QuickOrtho does not transmit this information to Dirkes Medical.

The app does not include advertising, third-party analytics, or tracking SDKs. It does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, or location.

You can remove saved pages and clear recent pages within the app. Removing the app removes its local data, subject to your device’s backup and restore settings. Device backups, if enabled, are managed by your platform provider.

Support requests

If you email contact@dirkesmedical.com, we receive your email address and any information you choose to include, such as your name, app version, device details, or screenshots. We use this information to respond, troubleshoot problems, and improve the app.

Please do not include patient names, medical records, or other identifiable patient information in support messages or screenshots. QuickOrtho is a reference tool, not a patient-record system.

App stores and external websites

Apple and Google process app downloads and store transactions under their own privacy policies. They may provide us with sales, download, or diagnostic reports through their developer services, depending on your platform settings. We do not receive your payment-card details.

QuickOrtho includes links to external references and websites. Opening a link connects you to that website, whose privacy policy applies. Those websites may receive information such as your IP address and browser details.

When you visit the Dirkes Medical website, our hosting provider may process standard server logs, including IP address, requested page, browser information, and visit time, to deliver and secure the website. This is separate from information stored locally in QuickOrtho.

Use and sharing of information

We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising. Our email and hosting providers process information needed to operate those services. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect the security of our services, or with your consent.

Retention, security, and your choices

We retain support correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request, maintain relevant support records, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards, but no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.

To request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you have sent us, email contact@dirkesmedical.com. We will respond in accordance with applicable law and may need to verify your request. We cannot access or delete app information that remains only on your device.

Children’s privacy

QuickOrtho is intended for trained healthcare professionals, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us so we can address it.

Changes to this policy

We will post updates on this page and change the date above. If an update materially changes how we handle personal information, we will provide additional notice where required.
